How it works
Masqora is a social gameplay engine: it casts characters, keeps secrets, drops clues and resolves the session for you. Social mystery is the first experience built on it — more are coming.

Create a game
The host picks the story and opens the room. That is the only preparation there is.

Invite with a PIN or QR
Everyone else joins from their own phone. They can play as guests, with no account.

Receive a character
Assignment is automatic and takes your group size into account. Nobody picks their part.

Read your private information
Background, relationships, secrets and objectives. Only you see your sheet.

Confirm you are ready
Each player marks that they have read theirs. The game does not start until everyone has.

Begin
The app opens the first act and starts the clock. From here on, talk.

Talk and investigate
Ask, compare versions and decide who you believe. This part happens face to face.

Receive clues
Masqora introduces new information as the acts advance. It calls you, privately.

Handle objects
Digital objects can be shown, handed over or hidden. They really do change hands.

Make decisions
Some choices are yours and some belong to the group. Both leave consequences on record.

Vote
When time runs out, the table decides. The ballot is secret and the app runs it.

See the results
The solution is revealed, along with who met their objectives and what was behind each character.
That is what the engine does in any story you play on it. Today that is social mystery only — but it is the same engine that will power what comes next.
