The premise
Winter, 1934. The Blackridge Express crosses the mountains through a snowstorm, and nobody gets off before the last stop.
Sir Edmund Vale, one of the most powerful men in Europe, summoned several passengers to the first-class carriage tonight. Each of them had a different reason to see him. At 22:32 his compartment is opened and he is dead: the door locked from the inside, the window too, no weapon in sight.
The train reaches Blackridge in under half an hour. Until then, whoever killed Vale is still in this carriage.
